May 2019 the Saquish Beach Land Trust welcomed six new members to the Trust. This brings the total membership of the Saquish Beach Land Trust to 58 members. 

Member benefits include:

• Deeded rights to the beach
• A voice towards the care of the beach
• A voice towards the trust and beach rules/regulations
• Voting rights to elect trustees and other topics
• Supporting the community and uniting with neighbors
• Great selling point for resale of cottages

The trust will remain open to new membership through 2020. To be eligible to participate in The Saquish Beach Land Trust you must own land with a residential dwelling located on the peninsular of land known as Saquish and including the areas known as the “Gurnet”, “Saquish”, “Western Point” or “Head”. 

An offer of a flat rate buy in of $2,500 will be extended to interested and eligible new members.

It is our sincere hope that residents will consider joining the trust to share in member benefits and by working together will help to  build and maintain a stronger community for us all.
